This painting was based on photographs I took at the 2007 and 2008 Chuckwagon Cook-off held in San Gabriel Park, Georgetown. It is being recreated as a banner for this year’s Chisholm Trail celebration. Afterwards, the banner will be on permanent display in the new East View High School, Georgetown, Texas. Note: The original painting is currently available. Please contact me regarding prints.
My late husband, Jeff Fuller, was an avid photographer. He took a photo of an old silo while we enjoyed a rare snowstorm in Williamsburg, Virginia. This painting pays homage to that scene.
We found a collection of these amber-colored bottles in the upper loft of our wash house (where whiskey was originally stored in the 1920s through 1950s (need I say more?). This snuff bottle was the only one with a label still intact.
Yes, these keys are still used today at my farmhouse. Imagine my joy upon discovering a jar of them—only to find that each door in the place has a different lock (thus, a different key). I spent hours trying to find matches and still have some lockless keys and keyless locks. Oh well, they are still little treasures.

This egg was laid by one of my free-range chickens in Schulenburg, Texas. "Ruffles Puffles Muffles Cuffles," a chicken of questionable pedigree, produced incredibly large and richly colored eggs—often laying them on my husband’s favorite porch chair. This is one of hers, immortalized for posterity (and later incorporated into a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough). My family and I agree, our chickens laid heavenly eggs; hence, the name "Angel Egg." It is my first daily painting!
